Marlboro County in northeast South Carolina
Robeson County in southeast North Carolina

* until 445 am EDT

* at 158 am EDT... moderate to heavy rain was falling across much of
the area in association with Tropical Storm Hanna. An additional 2
to 3 inches of rain is expected to fall over the next few hours.

* Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to
Bennettsville... Darlington... Dillon... Florence... Georgetown...
Hartsville... Kingstree... Marion... Mullins... Murrells Inlet and
Lumberton.

Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches are possible in
the advisory area.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause elevated levels on
small creeks and streams... and ponding of water in urban areas...
highways... streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage
areas and low lying spots.

Excessive runoff will also cause elevated levels on small creeks
and streams... and ponding of water on country roads and farmland
along the banks of creeks and streams.
