regional weather discussion... showers and thunderstorms continued to expand across western Kansas and far northwest Oklahoma at 155 am. The rain area was north of a line from Woodward to Enid... and the showers and storms were moving mainly toward the east at about 30 mph. The stronger storms will contain very heavy rain... frequent lightning... hail... and possibly strong winds. The showers and thunderstorms are expected to continue to increase in coverage across northern Oklahoma through the early morning hours.
