An area of showers and thunderstorms will exit most of east central...and south central Minnesota by 1245 am. All of the activity will trek eastbound at 40 mph. Most of the activity is east of a line...from Mora...to Minneapolis to New Ulm to Jackson. The strongest thunderstorms will produce wind gusts to 45 mph...frequent bouts of deadly lightning...and rainfall amounts in the one half inch...to just over one inch category as they pass your location. All activity will cease across the region after the 3 am hour.
