Through 1015 PM EDT (915 PM cdt)...scattered showers and possibly a few thunderstorms will continue to develop and move to the west at 20 to 25 mph across portions of southeast Alabama...southwest and south central Georgia...the Florida Panhandle and the adjacent waters. Most of these showers will be focused across Florida and the near shore waters. A few of the showers and any storms may produce brief wind gusts to 25 mph and brief heavy rainfall... rainfall amounts will average around a tenth of an inch...with local quarter inch amounts possible in the heavier showers.
