    ... Heat advisory in effect from 12 PM to 8 PM PDT Thursday...

    The National Weather Service San Francisco Bay area has issued
    a heat advisory... which is in effect from 12 PM to 8 PM PDT
    Thursday.

    High temperatures on Thursday will range from the mid 80s in
    downtown San Francisco to near 100 in Fremont. It will be very
    mild Thursday night with low temperatures only falling into the
    60s. Temperatures will cool into the 70s to upper 80s on Friday.
    Significant cooling will not occur until Saturday.

    A heat advisory means that a period of hot temperatures is
    expected. The combination of hot temperatures and high humidity
    will combine to create a situation in which heat illnesses are
    possible. Drink plenty of fluids... stay in an air-conditioned
    room... stay out of the sun... and check up on relatives and
    neighbors.
