Statement as of 8:26 PM CDT on September 05, 2008

The Flood Warning continues for
the White River at Augusta.
* Until further notice... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 6:00 PM Friday the stage was 29.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 31.5 feet by
Monday afternoon.




Flood Advisory
Statement as of 8:31 PM CDT on September 05, 2008

From the National Weather Service in Little Rock ... the flood
advisory continues for
the White River at Georgetown.
* Until Saturday evening.
* At 5:00 PM Friday the stage was 17.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise to near 19.9 feet Tuesday morning
and remain above 19 feet through the next several days.
